Looking for an accessible stay at a favourable rate, in nature and close to the animals, with your family or in a group?

De Kleppe in Everbeek (Brakel) in the beautiful Flemish Ardennes region is a holiday centre for everyone, especially vulnerable people, people with a mental or physical disability, people in poverty, people with autism and people with a special need for help.

Our accessible (A +) holiday residences are located in a former monastery and can accommodate 4 to 57 people. We provide the necessary care tools and a professional care network; the premises and the experience garden are fully accessible for wheelchairs and even beds, and the design and operation of our centre is tailored to people with autism (ASD). We were the first holiday centre in Flanders to receive the autism-friendly label from Autism Central.

Everyone is welcome

We focus on our vulnerable target groups, but at weekends and in low season our holiday residences are open to everyone. With its beautiful location in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes, De Kleppe is an excellent address for cyclists or hikers. And when you choose to stay at De Kleppe, you support our operation. A holiday with which you not only do yourself a favour, you also help people who are less fortunate than you!

For vulnerable people and together with vulnerable people

Working at De Kleppe offers important guidance for many volunteers or people in social employment. People with a disability or autism can also have their daytime activities here.

Activities with animals

At De Kleppe we organize therapy and adapted activities with the farm animals. From children with autism to people with multiple disabilities or elderly people with dementia ... we see that our animals bring about miracles and that they stimulate people in their abilities.

De Kleppe is an all-in project in the social sector, a place where well-being and care, tourism and leisure, youth and environment meet.
